Rung Spacing (Ladder Trays): Typically 250mm or 300mm. Design Considerations: The total cross-sectional area of cables should not exceed 50% of the tray's interior area to allow proper ventilation and heat dissipation. Load capacity and support spacing must be calculated based on cable weight and environmental conditions.

Accessories and Installation

Fittings: Horizontal bends, vertical bends, reducers, tees, and clamps are available for smooth routing. Support Structures: Channels, angles, Unistrut channels, and cantilevers are used for secure installation. Cutting Allowance: Add 5–10% to total measured length to account for on-site cutting and fitting.

Connection Methods: Splice plates or overlap joints (150–300mm) are used to join tray sections securely.

Environmental and Project Considerations

Indoor vs Outdoor: Powder-coated trays are preferred for outdoor use due to corrosion resistance. Industrial vs Commercial: Ladder trays are preferred for industrial and solar projects, while perforated trays are common in commercial and office environments.
