To obtain a network cabinet design quotation in Bhutan, suppliers must follow the official government procurement procedures, submit bids in Ngultrum, and comply with technical and administrative requirements outlined in Standard Bidding Documents. Key Steps for Quotation Submission1. Identify the Procuring Agency: Network cabinet design and ICT equipment quotations are typically requested by government institutions such as the Ministry of Finance, Samtse College of Education, or the Government Technology Agency (GovTech).

Determine which agency is issuing the Request for Quotation (RFQ) or tender. 2. Review the Standard Bidding Document (SBD): The SBD provides detailed instructions on bid preparation, including required documents, pricing format, and submission guidelines.

All quotations must be submitted in Ngultrum, inclusive of delivery charges, and accompanied by bid security if specified. 3. Prepare Required Documentation: Typical documents include: Original and copy of the quotation clearly markedValid trade license issued by the Ministry of Economic AffairsTax Clearance Certificate from the Department of Revenue and CustomsBid security or earnest money (if required) 4.

Technical Specifications: Ensure the quotation includes detailed specifications of the network cabinet, including dimensions, material, cooling provisions, and compatibility with existing ICT infrastructure. Some agencies may provide a technical specification sheet in the RFQ or tender document. 5.

Submission and Validity: Quotations are usually submitted in person at the designated office (e.g., conference hall of the institution) and fax or electronic submissions are not accepted. Quoted prices are generally valid for 12 months from the date of submission, and goods should be delivered within the timeframe specified in the RFQ. 6.

Evaluation and Award: The procuring agency evaluates quotations based on total cost, compliance with technical specifications, and completeness of documentation. The unit rate may be corrected if discrepancies are found, but the total quoted price governs. Additional ResourcesGovTech Tenders and Quotations: For ICT-related projects, including network infrastructure, visit the GovTech tender portal for current RFQs and Expressions of Interest.eGP Portal: The electronic Government Procurement portal (https://) allows registered suppliers to submit quotations for various government projects.

Ministry of Finance Guidelines: Standard Bidding Documents for ICT equipment provide templates and terms for quotation submission. By following these steps and ensuring compliance with the SBD and RFQ requirements, suppliers can successfully submit a network cabinet design quotation in Bhutan.
