Price of cold-galvanized cable trays in Malaysia

Cold-galvanized cable trays in Malaysia are available from multiple suppliers, with prices varying based on material, size, type, and finish.

Overview of Cold-

Galvanized Cable TraysCold-galvanized cable trays are steel trays coated with a zinc-rich paint or spray to provide corrosion resistance, as opposed to hot-dip galvanization which involves immersing steel in molten zinc. They are widely used in industrial, commercial, and construction projects to support and organize electrical and data cables. Common types include perforated trays, ladder trays, and solid-bottom trays, each suited for different cable layouts and load requirements.

Factors Affecting Price

Material and Coating: Cold-galvanized trays are generally less expensive than hot-dip galvanized trays but still offer corrosion protection. Prices vary depending on steel grade and zinc coating thickness. Tray Type and Size: Ladder-type trays, perforated trays, and solid-bottom trays differ in manufacturing complexity.

Larger widths, longer lengths, and heavier gauge steel increase cost. Supplier and Brand: Established suppliers like SAN Engineering, Super Cable Tray, and Brilltech Engineers offer high-quality trays with certifications and warranties, which can affect pricing. Accessories and Customization: Additional components such as bends, tees, couplers, and earthing strips can add to the overall cost.

Typical ApplicationsCold-galvanized cable trays are used in factories, hospitals, shopping centers, airports, and commercial buildings. They provide easy access for maintenance, reduce cable tangling, and improve safety by supporting electrical and data cables efficiently.

How to Obtain Pricing

Since prices vary widely based on specifications, the most reliable way to get accurate pricing is to contact local suppliers directly. Many suppliers, including SAN Engineering, Super Cable Tray, and Brilltech Engineers, offer free quotes and can provide detailed pricing based on your project requirements. When requesting a quote, provide details such as tray type, dimensions, load capacity, and quantity to receive an accurate estimate.

In summary, cold-galvanized cable trays in Malaysia are cost-effective, corrosion-resistant solutions for cable management, with prices influenced by material, size, type, and supplier. Direct consultation with suppliers is recommended to obtain precise pricing for your specific project.
