Distance of cable tray support installation position

The NEC requires that cable trays must be supported by members at an interval specified by the cable tray manufacturer, but not more than 5 feet for horizontal runs to support the weight of the cables and other loads. The NEC has a requirement for ladder-type cable trays. Proper installation can significantly reduce electromagnetic interference, prevent fire hazards, and improve overall efficiency. During forklift offloading on uneven ground, one must exercise extreme caution to prevent load shifting. Clause 522-08-04 Where conductors or cables are not supported. The support spacing recommendations work perfectly with our standard installation practices, and the material lists integrate seamlessly with our procurement system. From a maintenance perspective, the long-term.

Cable tray diagonal bracing and seismic support

Technical overview of seismic cable tray design considerations including bracing splice reinforcement movement accommodation cable retention and support verification. High-seismicity projects place much greater demands on cable tray systems than ordinary installations. Cable tray runs in seismic zones need more than normal hanger spacing. A standard trapeze support carries gravity load; it does not reliably stop lateral sway, longitudinal movement, anchor pullout, or cable spill during ground motion. A coordinated seismic bracing system uses strut channels. An innovative bracing system was designed to provide lateral bracing for the cable tray system. Our strong legacy includes OSHPD OPA and OPM approvals, Structural Engineer approvals, and compliance with Internation-al Building. Cablofil Wiremesh Cable Tray concept based upon performance, safety and economy; three qualities which make Cablofil Wiremesh Cable Tray system preferred by installers. Cablofil adapts to the most complex configurations, and its structure gives maximum strength for minimum weight.
