This Excel template provides a structured relay schedule with columns: Relay Tag, Make & Model, Location, Protected Equipment, Rated Current, CT Ratio, Pickup (Is), TMS, Curve Type (SI/VI/EI/DT), Highset Setting, Definite Time Setting, Last Test Date, and Engineer. This Excel template provides a structured relay schedule with columns: Relay Tag, Make & Model, Location, Protected Equipment, Rated Current, CT Ratio, Pickup (Is), TMS, Curve Type (SI/VI/EI/DT), Highset Setting, Definite Time Setting, Last Test Date, and Engineer. Relay settings records are critical for protection coordination studies and maintenance audits. Plug Setting Multiplier (PSM) indicates how many times the determined relay secondary current (typically the CT secondary) exceeds the relay pickup (plug) current. It is the key quantity utilized in IDMT. LAY S TTIN LAY SETTIN of CT groups fThe scheme is selected for blocking of distance relay during a P. T failure condition without a fault of transmission line. Current Setting: The adjustment of the relay's pickup current by changing coil turns, expressed as a percentage of the CT's rated secondary current.

Parameter Setting Table for Relay Protectors

Use this Protection Relay Setting Calculator to calculate pickup current, time multiplier settings (TMS), operating time, coordination time interval (CTI), and plug setting multiplier (PSM) using fault current, CT ratio, and IEC 60255 curve parameters. Quadrilateral characteristics Mho characteristics are very much preferred for EHV system due to the inherent high speed and characteristics expansion quality. Therefore, Mho characteristic has been selected for phase faults and it is recommended to use Quadrilateral Impedance characteristic for. LAY S TTIN LAY SETTIN of CT groups fPlug Setting Multiplier (PSM) indicates how many times the determined relay secondary current (typically the CT secondary) exceeds the relay pickup (plug) current. It is the key quantity utilized in IDMT (inverse definite minimum time) curves to calculate the basic operating time. combination of templates and setting tables for parameters with individual setting.
