Price of Rainproof and Waterproof Cable Trays

Rainproof cable trays typically range from £20 to £150 per meter depending on material, size, and load capacity. Rainproof cable trays are designed for outdoor or wet environments, often made from hot-dipped galvanized steel or pre-galvanized steel to resist corrosion and ensure durability. Prices vary based on tray width, length, and duty rating: Light-duty trays (50–150mm wide, 1–3 meters long) generally cost around £20–£50 per meter.

Medium-duty trays (150–300mm wide) are typically priced £50–£90 per meter, often with hot-dipped galvanization for external use. Heavy-duty trays (300–600mm wide, high load capacity) can range from £90–£150 per meter, suitable for industrial installations with heavy cables. Accessories such as couplers, bends, tees, and lids are sold separately and may add £5–£30 per piece depending on size and finish.

When purchasing, consider DIN EN 61537 compliance for outdoor use, which ensures the tray system is suitable for rainproof and harsh environments. Suppliers like RS Components, CEF, CMW, and Direct Channel offer a variety of rainproof cable trays with next-day delivery options in the UK. For accurate pricing, it is recommended to request a quote from suppliers, specifying the tray type, width, length, and finish, as bulk orders or custom sizes can affect the final cost.
